Talk: Appropriating the Moment: Collecting the Performance

Performance art has entered into a new relationship with the art collection. Performance pieces are being collected, handled and appropriated by individuals and institutions. What are the conditions and implications of this new relationship with the live? Moderated by UK Associate curator Teresa Calonje, includes contributions form theorist Adrian Heathfield, and collectors Marc and Josée Gensollen.

Symposium and Performance: Chorusing

Venue: Delfina Foundation
A one-day symposium, co-ordinated by Emma Smith as part of her research process, exploring the relationship of voice to transcription – of utterance and the written score. The symposium will include contributions from specialists in a variety of fields, including Elsa De Luca, Palaeographer, (University of Bristol), and Jerome Lewis, Anthropologist, (University College London).

Art Night London: Cecilia Bengolea
