Michael Windle is an artist living and working in Edinburgh Scotland, who uses computers to augment traditional studio practice to help generate screenprints, photographs, multimedia and video. He is a lecturer at Edinburgh College of Art.

He was resident artist in Damascus, Syria, during which time he created a large-scale video work with a group of emerging Syrian artists. An excerpt of the video can be viewed here. The full work comprises 250 videos that run from a hard drive randomly in split-screen format with three different streams of soundtrack.
